How to join:

Contact us via the below form "Application for Class" by 4 PM on Friday before the class day.

Please complete the questionnaire. Otherwise, you won't be allowed to participate in the class.

The teacher will contact you in return.

Please come to the classroom ten minutes before starting time of the class.
Place: 1 floor in Genkidan Nagoya, 2 Chome-2-19, Shinoto, Atsuta ward, Nagoya city, Aichi 〒456-0018
Lower Elementary Class
7pm-8:30pm on 1st & 3rd Saturday
You can learn basic grammar and conversations with the textbook Genki 1 (3rd edition). It's taught in English basically. You need to buy the textbook if you continue joining.
Upper Elementary Class
5pm-6:30pm on 1st & 3rd Saturday
You can learn basic grammar and kanji with the textbook Genki 2.
It's taught in easy Japanese and English.
So if you neither understand English nor easy Japanese, you may be refused participation.
Pre Intermediate Class
3pm-4:30pm on 1st & 3rd Saturday
You can learn expressions and reading while thinking logically in Japanese.
This class is taught only in Japanese and the level is about the lower intermediate such as N4 or N3 of JLPT.
Intermediate Conversation Class
1pm-2:30pm on 1st & 3rd Saturday
You can improve practical discourse and social communication.
It's taught in Japanese only.
The target level is about N3 or N2.
Teens Class
We give a class for those who are in more than 5th grade and junior and senior high school.
It teaches the basics of the Japanese language, especially the phrases and words used in school.
Fee ：100 yen per time.
✅ Eligible age: 10 to 18 years old (Teenagers)
✅ Applications from those outside this age range will not be accepted.
Kanayama Teens Class
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm every Saturday
Contents: the phrases they use in school and daily life
Textbook: "Yamanobori For School Life"
Fee: 100 yen per time
Place: 2-2-19 Shinoto, Atsuta ward, Nagoya city, Aichi prefecture, Japan 456-0018
Manba Teens Class
10am - 11:30am every Sunday
Contents: the phrases they use in school and daily life
Textbook: "Yamanobori For School Life"
Fee: 100 yen per time
Place: Manba 4cho-me, Nakagawa ward, Nagoya city

Go to the channel #read-me and scroll down.

Click the button "Japanese language learner" at the bottom of the screen as the necessary role.

Go to the channel #roles and click the button of the class which you want.
*if you don't assign the necessary role, you can't see any class channels and you'll be kicked out. Without the class role, you can't see the class channels. -
Take a read at #class-info to get the information about the class.

Come up to the voice channel "Classroom" at time of the class.
To those who join the Intermediate Class and Irodori Class, in addition to the above, please do as follows.

Go to #class-info on Discord and join Google Classroom.

You can see the link to ZOOM in the stream in Google Classroom. Please join ZOOM from the ZOOM link at time of the class.

Beginner Class
Day: Every Saturday
10:30AM (JST)
Taught the basic grammar and Japanese conversation in English by a certified Japanese teacher using the textbook Dekiru Nihongo which is based on the communicative approach with the task-based practice.
Dekiru Nihongo
Lower Elementary Class
Day: Every other Sunday
Time: 9 PM (JST)
This class is for the lower beginners and taught in English and easy Japanese by a certified Japanese teacher using the textbook Dekiru Nihongo which is based on the communicative approach with the task-based practice.
Dekiru Nihongo
Upper Elementary Class
Day: Every Sunday
Time: 10 PM (JST)
This class is for the pre-intermediate level and taught in English and easy Japanese by a certified Japanese teacher using the textbook Dekiru Nihongo which is based on the communicative approach with the task-based practice.
Irodori Beginner Class
Day: Every Friday
Time: 9 AM (JST)
This class is for the lower beginner and taught the oral communication basically for workers living in Japan using the textbook Irodori which was published by Japan Foundation.
Intermediate Class
Day: The second and the fourth Saturdays
Time: 9 PM (JST)
This class is for the intermediate level mainly for communication.
And it teaches some practice to pass N3 of JLPT.
